Contact: Steven Siesser JOB DESCRIPTION: NAIFA, the largest financial services trade association, seeks Vice President Information Services. Position is responsible for defining, directing and implementing the association’s technology goals in accordance with the organization’s strategic plan. Position serves as a consultant to department heads to ensure that information technology provides ongoing value. Seeks out and initiates new programs to streamline company business processes. Responsible for management of all association information systems activities and contracts, including database management, telecommunications, networks, servers, systems analysis, programming, and computer and auxiliary operations. Manages Information Services staff of three. Also oversees Member Records Department, and is responsible for the overall integrity, accuracy and timeliness of data processing. Acts as iMIS database administrator and needs to be proficient with iMIS, Crystal Reports, Access, SQL scripting, SQL triggers and iMIS eSeries. Responsible for determining long-term association information needs and developing overall strategy for system deployment and hardware acquisition and integration. Acts as highest-level interface with users in determining overall information systems approach. Performs needs assessment and strategy development regarding employment of information systems. Oversees software maintenance and new software development, including system design, system hardware requirements, software requirements, programming, and documentation. B.S. degree in computer science or engineering and 7-10 years system design and management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced in server mangaement, network management, Microsoft Exhange management, SQL server administration, ability to modify network firewall.
